Vegan Microwavable brownies

Ingredient:

3 tablespoons dark chocolate of choice (make sure it is dairy free)

1 1/2 teaspoons vegan softened butter

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

1 1/2 tablespoons of almond milk at room temperature (Round 1)

4 1/2 tablespoons of all purpose flour

1 1/2 tablespoons of almond milk at room temperature (Round 2)


Method:

  1. Grease a microwavable pan and optionally line with parchment paper.

  2. Chop up any kind of dark chocolate of choice, and/or add dark chocolate chips to it.

  3. Add in the vegan butter to the chocolate chips (this helps with the step of microwaving the chocolate well and giving the brownie a moist texture)

  4. Put the mix in the microwave for 30 seconds, mix, and if it is not melted, put it in for another 30 seconds till it has a runny consistency.

  5. Add in the Caster/ Powdered sugar, mix it up; add the almond milk, mix it up.

  6. Next add the flour on top, and fold it in, it will create a stiffer mix, soften this using the second round of milk, you can change up the flavours, or keep it the same, depending on the flavour you would like to infuse it with. Mix till you obtain a creamy consistency, if it is still stiff, add in more milk by the teaspoon till you have a creamy consistancy, if it is runny, ad flour, but by half a teaspoon, and fold, or it will turn out stiff and hard to chew.

  7. Put this mixture into the Greased pan, and add any toppings like dark chocolate and chocolate chips(dairy free options.); and microwave for 1.5 minutes, and to make sure it is done, use a toothpick and stick it into the brownie and take it out, if it is not cooked, the batter will stick to the toothpick when removed.
