Vegan croissants at home(with yeast)

Ingredients:

2 cups of white flour (maida)

1/4th teaspoon salt

1/2 sup any plant based milk

1/2 cup water

4 tablespoons powdered sugar

4 grams active dry yeast


Method:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt.

  2. In another bowl take the plant based milk, water and sugar. Mix it and warm it up on the stove till the sugar is well combined.

  3. Next, add in the yeast and mix it in while the milk is still warm.

  4. In thirds, put in the flour mix into the milk mix.

  5. Once it has becomes a dough consistency take it out sprinkle some flour on the base so it doesn't stick to any surface. Start kneading it take the use of vegan butter to help it not stick and continue to knead it till it is very soft and non-stick.

  6. Place it in the fridge for half an hour

  7. Preheat the oven to 160 C.

  8. You can also use confectionary chocolate and make chocolate croissants.

  9. Create croissants(like shown in the video). Bake it at 160 C for 30 minutes.
