Ingredients-
1 cup wholewheat flour
2 tbsp brown sugar or caster sugar
1 tbsp baking powder ( you can replace baking powder with 1 tsp baking soda added with the flour and 2 tsp vinegar/lemon juice with the milk)
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup milk
2 tbsp olive oil (or any unflavoured oil)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Procedure-
In a bowl, add the flour, sugar baking powder (or baking soda). Mix it up until well combined.
In the same bowl, add the milk, oil and vanilla extract. (add the vinegar incase you are using baking soda.) Mix it again until it is a flowy batter.
If the batter is not flowy add a little water until it becomes the desired consistency.
Put a pan on low flame and grease it with butter (if not non-stick). Take some batter on a spoon and spread it a little on the pan. The batter will show many bubbles.
Once the bubbles start showing up and the edges look firm, you are ready to flip the pancake. this can take around 1-1:30 minutes.
After flipping the pancakes, let it cook for around 30 seconds to a minute and the remove it from the pan. Repeat this for the rest of the pancakes.
you can now serve the pancakes along with whipped cream, maple syrup or even fruits. Enjoy this quick and delicious dish!
