Red Velvet Mug Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp caster sugar

  • 1 tbsp melted vegan butter

  • 1 tsp honey/ maple syrup

  • 1½ tbsp vegan yogurt

  • A few drops of red food colouring till you are satisfied with the colour. (We have used ½ tsp of beetroot dye.)

  • ¼ tsp vanilla essence

  • 2-3 tbsp flour

  • ¼ tsp baking soda

  • ¼ tsp cocoa powder

  • ½ tbsp water

Procedure:

  • In a mug, Mix the sugar, butter and honey.

  • Then, add the yougurt, vanilla essence and red food dye.Mix well

  • Next, add the flour, baking soda and cocoa powder. Mix again

  • Now, add water until it is a smooth paste.

  • Finally, bake it for 1 minute and garnish with powdered sugar. Your red velvet cupcake is ready to eat
