Easy & On the Go Granola Bars

Hey there Bakers! We are back with another easy granola bar recipe. Granola Bars are super healthy and full of energy, the best part is that they have no sugar! So now lets see how to make it.


Ingredients-

  1. 1 cup dates

  2. 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave syrup (or even honey if not vegan)

  3. 2 tablespoon peanut butter

  4. 2 tablespoon softened vegan butter

  5. 1 cup almonds

  6. 1 cup rolled oats

  7. 1/2 cup cornflakes (substitution: rolled oats)

  8. 2 tablespoon chocolate chips

Procedure-

  • On a baking tray, spread the oats and almonds, toast them in the oven at 180°C for 5-10 minutes or until they are golden brown. If you dont have a oven toast it on the stove on the pan till it is golden brown.

  • In a blender, blend the dates until they are in a paste.

  • In a big bowl, add the dates paste, peanut butter & vegan butter. Next add the maple syurp. Mix it all together.

  • Once the almonds are toasted, blend it up till it is in small chucks. (it should not be in a powder form.

  • Back in the bowl with the butter & dates, add the almond chunks and toasted oats. Mix it up till it forms a dough like consistency.

  • Finally, add the cornfalkes and chocolate and mix it again.

  • Grease a 8 x 8 inch square pan with parchment paper and add the granola mixture. Tightly pack it and spread it acoording the shape of the pan.

  • Freeze it for 20-30 minutes.

  • Your Granola Bars are now ready so cut them in bars and store them in a air tight container or the fridge. They will last for almost a week.
