Chocolate Cake is very popular for birthdays, celebrations or even to cheer up your mood but what make it so delicious that we always want to crave on it. Find out below on how to make the perfect chocolate cake. The recipes are also 100% Vegan so go ahead and try it out.
INGRIDENTS-
1½ cup flour
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp coffee powder (optional- to enchance the flavour of chocolate)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup caster sugar
1 cup water
⅓ cup melted butter/oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
PROCEDURE-
Grease a 8-9 inch cake tin. Preheat the oven to 170° celcius or 338° fahrenheit.
In a medium-sized bowl, add in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and coffee powder.Mix up the ingredients and sift it 3-4 times so that it is light and airy.
After sifting, add in the brown sugar and caster sugar and mix well.
In a large bowl, add the water, melted butter, vinegar and vanilla essence. Mix Well
Add the dry ingredents to the wet in 3 parts. Do not over mix.
Bake the cake in the oven for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
You can optionally frost it with buttercream or glaze it with pouring ganache.

Add the brown sugar and caster sugar. Mix again.

In a big bowl, add the water,melted butter, vinegar and vanilla essence. Mix it with a whisk. (It should look something like inthe right.)

Now, add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in 3 parts. The batter should be a flowy consistency.

Pour the batter in the tin and bake for 40-45 minutes at 170° Celsius.

Here is picture of the cake after it has been baked . You can now optionally frost the cake. (We have baked 2 cakes and glazed with chocolate ganache. On top we have added caramel flowers)
